She wasn’t going to whip her hair back and forth no more.
Willow Smith shaved her head bald in protest in 2012 after her famous actor dad, Will Smith, said she had to continue her “Whip My Hair” tour despite the singer’s request to end it and go home.
“We came downstairs and she had shaved her head bald,” he recalled in JAY-Z’s new “Footnotes for Adnis” video. “She shaved her head bald in the middle of her ‘Whip My Hair’ tour. I was like, ‘Oh, s–t.'”
“I’m looking at that girl and I’m like, ‘Got it. I understand. You will not have this trouble out of me ever again. Let’s go, baby. We can go,'” he continued in the clip, which featured famous men discussing what they learned from their fathers — and what their children have taught them.

Will Smith, 48, said in that shocking moment — his 11-year-old daughter shaving her own head bald — he learned that his father’s way of parenting wasn’t going to work for him with his own children.
“For me, it was that soldier that was pushing and wasn’t paying any attention whatsoever to what was going on emotionally with this beautiful little creature in front of me,” he said in the clip, according to E! News.
“That was the first part of the collapsing of my father’s suit that I was wearing that wasn’t mine.”
The “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” shares children, Jaden, 19, and Willow, 16, with wife Jada Pinkett Smith. He also has a 24-year-old son, Trey, with ex Sheree Zampino.
