HANK’S HONEYS: The Rams are fully capable of covering big spreads, especially against the Cards, whom they blew away 32-16 and 33-0 a year ago. With the Arizona defense still adjusting to a new scheme, they will be at the mercy of the Rams’ innovative attack? For some reason, Steve Wilks, who was totally outcoached in his debut by Jay Gruden, kept Sam Bradford, perhaps to keep him healthy, under wraps with a pop-gun gameplan and still, the veteran QB was woeful. That approach will not work against the high-scoring Rams, but are the Cardinals capable of opening it up? We think not. David Johnson can only carry them so far. Josh Rosen better start warming up.
