Aaron Judge appeared to bust out of his post-All Star break slump Sunday night against the Red Sox, but Jackie Bradley Jr. had different plans.
The Red Sox center field robbed Judge of a potential two-run home run in center field in the eighth inning Sunday night, leaping to the left of the 420-foot marker at Fenway Park to steal a ball destined for the seats.
Had it not been for the catch, the Yankees would’ve pulled within a run in the eighth inning to make it a 3-2 ballgame.
Yankees shut out for 1st time this season in 3-0 loss to Red Sox
Instead it was just a 411-foot out, and Red Sox pitcher David Price managed to escape the rest of the inning unscathed and Boston won the game, 3-0.
