VIDEO: Clint Frazier crushes 455-foot home run in Yankees’ win

Clint Frazier is 6-foot-1 but weighs just 190 pounds. But he demolished a 455-foot home run Friday night that even made Judge proud.

“He’s just taken off,” Judge said. “We’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg, and he’s got all the talent in the world, so it’s going to be fun to watch the next couple years.”

With two outs in the bottom of the fifth, the 22-year-old crushed the three-run homer to left-center field for his fourth home run in 20 major league games.

“I almost overran first because I was watching it so long,” Frazier said.

Friday’s game was full of home runs from Yankee outfielders. Brett Gardner, who ended Thursday night’s game with a walk-off homer, picked up right where he left off with another lead-off home run on the third pitch he saw. He now has a career-high 19 home runs this season.

After Gardner’s lead-off homer, the Yanks went hitless until Judge joined the party in the fourth inning, smashing a laser home run to left field for his 33rd of the season.

“Before the game, Gardy was talking about how he’s going to catch Aaron in home runs,” Frazier said. “He hit that leadoff home run, and Judge had to put him to sleep right after that, and add on to the million he’s already got.”
