Usher says latest herpes accuser has ‘no proof’

Usher is shutting down at least one claim that he gave a partner herpes.

The R&B superstar responded to a $ 20 million lawsuit filed by an unnamed Georgia woman, claiming he gave her genital herpes back in April and noted she has “no proof,” TMZ reports.

“A previous sexual partner very well may have already infected her,” he said in the legal documents, pointing out that the woman did not clarify in the suit if she had been tested prior to their alleged sexual encounter.

He continues to state that the woman “assumed risk” by engaging a “casual, unprotected sexual intercourse and/or oral sex.”

Usher, 38, never denies having intercourse with the women, according to the portions of documents published by TMZ.

The “U Got It Bad” singer also added that she could have contracted herpes after their alleged encounter. He also found issue with the fact she wouldn’t use her real name and request the judge throw out the suit.

The woman, who filed as Jane Doe, initially sued Usher for $ 10 million in July for exposing her to the STD. She upped her request to $ 20 million days later after her test results confirmed she did in fact have herpes.

Doe is requesting the whopping amount for emotional harm, medical bills and punitive damages.

Woman who says Usher exposed her to herpes speaks out in N.Y.

Claims against Usher regarding herpes first made headlines after he paid out $ 1.1 million to an unidentified woman who claimed the star infected her with herpes in court documents dated from 2012 obtained by Radar Online.

The docs showed that Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, was diagnosed with the disease in 2009 or 2010.

Three more people accused Usher of exposing them to herpes in early August, including two women and a man.

The “Confessions” singer has been married to Grace Miguel since 2015.
