Last week’s opening of Scott Rudin and Roy Furman’s revival of “Carousel” brought out a host of stage stars — including Stockard Channing, Sutton Foster and Ben Vereen — but it was the screen stars who made the biggest splash at the after-party.
Spies tell Confidential that Uma Thurman (above) entered the bash, held at Cipriani 25, demanding to know, “Where is my private table?” A private area hadn’t been reserved for the “Pulp Fiction” star, who is completely unaffiliated with the production. But a team of staffers still scrambled to clear a space for her.
The party started to empty out around midnight, but Amy Adams — who was in a particularly festive mood — stayed until the lights were turned on. At that point, according to our spy, she “stumbled out onto the street” and stood there for a while, “seemingly mesmerized by the ‘Fearless Girl’ statue” before finally climbing into a car.
