Hurricane Florence provides a focal point, albeit a distressing one for all those who’ll be affected. (Coincidentally, a major climate change conference is underway right now in California, seeking to accelerate ambition among countries, cities, corporations and individuals.) Unless we do, it won’t be only the pigs that will be drowning in their own waste.
