Suspect arrested and more on loose after shootings at 2 New Zealand mosques leave dozens dead, Christchurch on lockdown

The carnage began unfolding at around 1:45 p.m. local time, as dozens of people prayed at the Masjid Al Noor mosque in central Christchurch, a witness told the Associated Press. The witness, Len Peneha, said he saw a man clad in black enter the mosque, after which he heard dozens of shots and saw people running away in terror.
