According to TMZ, R. Marcos Taylor, who played Suge Knight in 2015’s “Straight Outta Compton,” is facing serious charges following a knockdown, drag out fight at a Green Brook, N.J., restaurant.

The incident is said to have taken place Aug. 9 at a Carrabbas restaurant in the Garden State.

It’s unclear what sparked the altercation, but TMZ reports that Taylor is accused of having punched the eatery’s manager several times in the face. Taylor also apparently punched a woman in the side of the head during the fight.

Several employees attempted to intervene, unsuccessfully, according to the site.

Taylor, who couldn’t be reached by the Daily News for comment, maintained his innocence when speaking with TMZ about the incident. He claimed he was jumped in the Carrabbas parking lot, but said he couldn’t delve any further into the details.

His attorney told the publication Taylor didn’t punch or kick anyone. He claimed that his client was acting in self-defense.

‘Straight Outta Compton’ actor arrested for alleged assault

This isn’t Taylor’s first run in with the law.

According to the Miami Herald, he was arrested in May 2017 and hit with similar charges.

Police told the publication at the time that Taylor grew irate after being asked to get his feet off the lobby furniture in a Sunny Isles Beach, Fla., resort. He refused and a guard called the police.

Taylor was accused of having shoved the guard. Police told the Miami Herald that after they arrived they saw Taylor “pick the victim up and slam him into the ground.”

The prior case against Taylor is still pending.
