Talk about a wild trip around the bases.
Brewers shortstop Orlando Arcia had one of the more adventurous trips you’ll ever see from a baserunner Monday afternoon, hustling from first base on an infield single and managing to score.
As the ball was fielded and thrown to first base, Arcia decided to test Orioles first baseman Trey Mancini by rounding second and sprinting to third.
Arcia beat the throw, but he overslid the bag, prompting a rundown between third base and home. While it seemed like he was going to ultimately be out, come confusion with two Orioles trying to catch the second throw home allowed Arcia to evade a tag and score the Brewers’ eighth run of the game in what was eventually an 8-1 victory for Milwaukee.

Arcia also caught fans’ attention on Saturday, swiping a scoop of ice cream from an unsuspecting fan when a foul ball was hit into the stands.
One thing’s for sure: Arcia surely knows how to put on a show.
