SEE IT: Fans believe the Night King should be the Jets' QB

The Jets season is going to be dark and filled with terrors.

As the characters on “Game of Thrones” prepare for a long winter, so are Jets fans. On Sunday’s episode of the hit HBO drama, one of the show’s greatest villains showed off his arm, which piqued the interest of Gang Green fans on social media.

The Night King, the ruler of the White Walkers, launched an ice javelin up in the sky and killed a dragon with it. Daenerys Targaryen is now down a dragon and the White Walkers have a new undead weapon to use.

The moment left “Game of Thrones” fans stunned and Jets fans thinking about the next franchise quarterback.

Jets supporters were impressed with the Night King’s arm strength and accuracy.

Instead of the Night King, Jets fans will likely watch Josh McCown under the center for the team this year, in a season that many are expecting to not go well. Depending on how the season plays out, Christian Hackenberg could even see time in games so the Jets can analyze the position before next year’s draft.

The Jets are entering the 2017 season with three quarterbacks, Bryce Petty (l.) Christian Hackenberg (m.) and Josh McCown (r.), who could all see time as the team's starter.
