SEE IT: Disney teases ‘Frozen’ musical ahead of Broadway opening

For the first time in forever, you can see what’s happening on set of the “Frozen” musical.

Disney released a first look at the Broadway musical Monday, complete with a behind-the-scenes look at costumes and choreography.

To translate the show from the big screen to the stage, composers Lopez and Kristen Anderson Lopez have tripled the songs from 7 to 21.

Jennifer Lee, who wrote the screenplay and directed the movie, has also expanded the plot for the show.

The cast includes Caissie Levy as Elsa, Patti Murin as Anna, Jelani Alladin as Kristoff, Greg Hildreth as Olaf, John Riddle as Hans, and Robert Creighton as Duke of Weselton.

The “Frozen” musical, based on the Oscar-winning movie, will open on Broadway in the spring.

The Disney movie, released in 2013, became the top-grossing animated feature ever, bringing in almost $ 1.3 billion worldwide.

“Frozen” also won the 2014 Oscar for best animated film.

The musical will run from Aug. 17 through Oct. 1 in Denver before its Broadway opening at the St. James Theatre in the spring.
