Queen Bey is back.
Pop superstar Beyoncé made her first public appearance since giving birth to twins by attending an event put on by her husband JAY-Z’s record label in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The event was held in honor of rapper Vic Mensa and served as a listening party for his upcoming album “The Autobiography,” according to People.
JAY-Z reportedly introduced Mensa, who is signed to his Roc Nation label, at the event, which took place two weeks before the album’s July 28 release.
Beyoncé posts first photo of 1-month-old twins on Instagram
Beyoncé looked fit a month after welcoming the babies, and wore a white shirt, skirt and high heels. She and JAY-Z were photographed by paparazzi as they walked to their car outside the Mack Sennett Studios.
The outing came shortly before Beyoncé shared the first photo of her babies — a regal Instagram snapshot that showed her cradling the bundles of joy while wearing a flowing veil and sheet as she stood in front of a colorful flower arrangement.
“Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today,” she wrote in what was her first public acknowledgement on the twins since their birth.
It’s unclear why she referred to the first child as “Sir Carter,” considering both of their last names would be Carter. (JAY-Z’s real name is Shawn Carter).
JAY-Z admits his marriage with Beyoncé started ‘cracking’
Beyoncé announced her pregnancy in a February with a similarly themed photo, which featured her cradling her baby bump while wearing a veil, once again in front of flowers.
It’s also her first appearance with JAY-Z since he released his highly evocative album “4:44,” on which he appears to apologize to Beyoncé for cheating.
He later admitted his relationship with Beyoncé “wasn’t totally built on the 100% truth” in a video released this week called “Footnotes for ‘4:44.'”
JAY-Z and Beyoncé now have three kids together. Their first daughter, Blue Ivy, is 5.
