What’s up with Rob Lowe?
The actor revealed he has communicated with a ghost just weeks after “confirming” he had an actual encounter with the likely-fake beast Bigfoot.
While the supernatural encounters may be a way to drum up publicity for his new A&E show, “The Lowe Files” — it seems Lowe really believes he’s part of some mysterious phenomena.
The 53-year-old said his ghoulish encounter occurred by using a ghost-hunting device called the “Ovilus,” in an episode of the show, which also stars his sons Matthew and John, Us Weekly reported.
Rob Lowe claims he found Bigfoot
“There’s a device they use that the theory is it can translate … that the spirits can talk through this device, for a lack of better term,” he explained at the Television Critics Association press tour this week.
THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. FOOT: It’s the legend that refuses to die
“It said the dead woman’s name where she was murdered. Judge for yourself … I don’t want to seem like a nut. I don’t want to end my career here,” he said, jokingly. “Too late?”
The entire series centers on the trio attempting to solve mysteries, but whether or not they solve them isn’t the point.
“We want to solve it, but if we don’t, the point of it is a father and sons on the road, making memories,” Lowe explained.
He previously shared that he witnessed a wood ape in one of the episodes — the common term for Sasquatch or Bigfoot.
When asked if he was genuinely terrified by his encounter with the ape, he replied: “I was lying on the ground thinking I was going to be killed.”
The “Parks and Recreation” star then confirmed what everyone else was thinking: “I’m fully aware that I sound like a crazy, Hollywood kook right now.”
