Nick Gordon won’t be facing charges after he was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend.
Gordon, 28 — who was found legally responsible for the death of late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown — will no longer face prosecution for battering his new flame Laura Leal in a jealous rage back in June.
Leal reportedly dropped the charge of misdemeanor assault and battery after having become “unhappy” with the justice system’s process, according to the Daily Mail.
She also reportedly wrote a letter to the judge that featured “statements that indicated further or conflicting accounts of the original incident,” the Mail reported.

In a police report from the incident, Gordon was said to have turned violent after accusing Leal of trying to “hook up” with one of his friends and repeatedly hit and punched her in the face and the back of the head over the course of several hours.
“Gordon became upset and violent, punching and hitting her and refusing to let her leave,” the report says.
Officers reported that she had injuries to her arms and face, which she later showed in pictures.
The incident happened a couple of months after Gordon was ordered to pay $ 36 million to Brown’s family for her wrongful death.

Leal, 26, told the Daily Mail at the time of the alleged domestic assault that she was “physically shaking” after reading reports about Bobbi Kristina, who was the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
“I read about her being isolated, her family not knowing where she was, the manipulation, the bullying — it’s the exact same thing,” Leal said.
“That could have been me. Only the Grace of God saved me.”
Gordon was ordered to anger management classes, which he has since completed, according to the Atlanta Constitution Journal.
Brown died in July 2015 at age 22 following a months-long coma after she was found face down in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Gordon and a friend were the ones who discovered her in the bathtub.
