‘Mighty Ducks’ goalie 'Goldberg' gets jail time for $151 theft

This “Mighty Ducks” star is getting time in the real penalty box.

Shaun Weiss, the actor who played the goalie Goldberg in “Mighty Ducks,” will spend 150 days in Los Angeles County Jail after stealing $ 151 in merchandise from an electronics store, TMZ reports.

The 38-year-old actor received the time because the crime was his second theft arrest, according to the gossip site. It is unclear what was stolen from the Fry’s Electronics store.

His manager, Don Gibble, told TMZ that Weiss might write something — like a script or jokes during his sentence.

“(Shaun) hopes jail will help him,” Gibble said. “Maybe while he is in jail he will write something.”

This isn’t the first time Weiss, a New Jersey native, has found himself in trouble with the law.

In 2013, his ex-girlfriend obtained a restraining order against the actor, claiming he punched her, threatened to kill her with a machete and tried peeing on her while saying: “This is all you’re worth.”
