Kim Kardashian shuts down rumors of drug use: It’s ‘sugar’

Sometimes a table is just a table.

Kim Kardashian quickly shut down a Twitter fan who suggested on Tuesday that the mom-of-two had a cocaine habit. The accuser shared an image from the reality TV star’s Instagram and said it appeared to show two suspicious lines of white powder on a table.

The fan took a screenshot of Kardashian’s original post and suggested the dust could be coke. Kardashian dashed the accusation, saying she first believed the powdery substance was just spilled sugar from a recent Dylan’s Candy Bar run.

She returned to an NYC hotel Tuesday night and realized that even she was wrong.

“I did think that it was our pixie sticks,” Kardashian said, pointing her camera phone toward the table’s corner.

The new angle revealed a shiny marbled table with a scattering of white stripes.

“But after all that, this table in the background — is a marble table, you guys. Like, come on,” she added.

Her late night Instagram post then took a serious turn.

“I don’t play like that. Come on. I have kids. It’s just not my lifestyle. I’ve never been like that.”

The accusing tweet that Kardashian responded to read, “Ohhhhhh @KimKardashian caught out with cocaine .. durtayyyyy.”

Kardashian posted the image to her Instagram story Monday.

According to TMZ, Kardashian’s defense that she visited the candy store chain in NYC stands strong. She was spotted shopping for sweets with her daughter North on Sunday.

The “Selfie” author has long been vocal about her stance against drugs, and in a 2016 open letter on her website told fans, “I don’t do drugs, I hardly drink.”
