Police said Mellencamp “had blood all over his face,” “would not cooperate or provide information on his injuries” and was “very belligerent and uncooperative,” according to the report.

Hud Mellencamp, who suffered a cut on his nose and a scratched neck, told officers that a group of men started the fight by “mouthing off.”

Speck Mellencamp was charged with public intoxication and resisting law enforcement.

The brothers, the children of the “Jack and Diane” singer and ex-wife Elaine Irwin, were previously arrested and charged with felony battery after a fight in 2013.

The charges were dropped to misdemeanor battery and Speck served 86 hours in jail, split up into 12-hour stints over four days due to his panic disorder.
