Two former Trump staffers who dated for two months on the campaign trail have a new bundle of joy.
A.J. Delgado, who served as a transition adviser, and Jason Miller, the married former White House communications director, welcomed a son last month, she revealed Tuesday.
“Dear friends: Beyond thrilled to share with you that I’m now the proud mother of a beautiful son (!), William!!!” Delgado tweeted, revealing that the baby boy was born July 10.
In December, the same day that then-President-elect Trump named Miller the director of communications, Delgado compared the staffer to John Edwards, John Kerry’s vice presidential nominee who fathered a child during an extramarital affair in August 2008.
“Congratulations to the baby-daddy on being named WH Comms Director!” she wrote in a now-deleted tweet.
Two days later, Miller announced that he wouldn’t be taking the communications job, citing the need to make his family his priority.
Miller’s wife welcomed their second daughter in January.
In follow-up tweets Wednesday, Delgado said that Miller “did not/has not sent the child even a $ 1 or a single gift/item.”
She did not immediately return a request for comment.
