Nanny McPhee is back to save the day.
Emma Thompson, who starred as the titular caregiver, will bring the 2005 movie to the London stage, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The British actress, who wrote the screenplay for the original “Nanny McPhee” movie, will direct the musical and write the lyrics, while Gary Clark will compose the music.
The family comedy follows Nanny McPhee (Thompson) as she attempts to wrangle a group of seven misbehaving kids. Colin Firth, Angela Lansbury and Kelly Macdonald also starred in the movie.
“Nanny McPhee” is expected to begin workshops in October and plans for a West End premiere for the 2019-2020 season.
