Ed Sheeran is getting animated.
The “Shape of You” singer is headed to Springfield for a “Simpsons” guest role, Entertainment Weekly reported Monday.
Sheeran will appear in an upcoming musical episode called “Haw-Haw Land” as a musician named Brendan who Lisa immediately develops a crush on.
“He keeps alternating (between), ‘You’re not that great, but you could be fantastic,’ and she keeps falling for him because of his talent,” executive producer Al Jean told EW.
‘Game of Thrones’ fans can’t stop talking about this cameo
Jean also teased a love triangle with Nelson, who tries to show off his pipes with a rendition of “Save the Last Dance.”
Sheeran, who has a tattoo of Blinky, a three-eyed fish who lives near the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, recorded his voiceover by phone from England after producer Mike Scully heard that he was a fan of the long-running comedy.
The British crooner’s “Simpsons” appearance comes on the heels of a guest role on “Game of Thrones” season seven premiere.
He also had a recurring role on the FX drama “The Bastard Executioner.”
Season 29 of “The Simpsons” premieres Oct. 1. Sheeran’s episode is expected to air in January.
