Donnie Wahlberg paid it forward majorly to a North Carolina waitress.
The New Kids on the Block star left a whopping $ 2,000 tip on an $ 82 bill at a Charlotte Waffle House on Thursday, citing his family’s involvement in the hospitality industry.
“My mom waited tables, and my dad tended bars– for years! So, when I walk into a #WaffleHouse, and the staff treats me like a king, you better believe I treat them like queens!” he wrote in a Facebook post. “Thanks to the team at @wafflehouseofficial Charlotte, NC!”
The singer also posted an 11-minute video of his experience at Waffle House and the staff.

He also provided some fellow waffle diners with tickets and backstage passes to the NKOTB show in town.
While Wahlberg ordered the classic steak, eggs and back, he surprisingly enough didn’t even get a waffle, WCNC—TV reported.
The 47-year-old is the older brother to actor Mark Wahlberg and the family runs the burger chain Wahlburgers with their older brother, Paul Wahlberg, as head chef.
