David Price gets upset during Red Sox’s walk-off celebration

David Price was visibly mad on Tuesday night and it had nothing to do with Dennis Eckersley.

The Red Sox hurler was celebrating Boston’s crazy 12-10 walk-off win against the Indians when teammate Hanley Ramirez decided to try and throw a cooler of ice water on hero Christian Vazquez, who hit the game-winning home run.

Ramirez missed his target and instead Price was hit square on the back with all the water.

His expression quickly shifted from jubilant to mad as he turned around to see who did it.

While Price’s new nemesis, hall of famer Eckersley, was nowhere near the scene of the crime, he was at Fenway Park.

And some Sox fans clearly aren’t siding with Price on the whole fiasco that happened between both pitchers on a team plane earlier in the season.

Eckersley was shown on the jumbotron during the game and received a rousing ovation from the Fenway Faithful.

According to the Boston Globe, Eckersley was approached by the Red Sox over the weekend in Cooperstown about having a closed door meeting with Price to talk things over and he declined.

Price should be happy, regardless of the Eckersley and water cooler situation: with the Red Sox’s thrilling win and the Yankees’ loss at home to Detroit, Boston is back in first place.
