Captain America is coming to Broadway.
Actor Chris Evans — who plays the Star-Spangled Hero in the Marvel movies — is set to make his Broadway debut in Kenneth Lonergan’s “Lobby Hero” starring alongside Michael Cera.
The play, which debuted Off-Broadway in 2001, centers on a security guard, his supervisor and a pair of police officers packed together in a Manhattan apartment where a murder investigation is taking place.
Cera, 28, portrays Jeff, the young security guard who has had his troubles with women, while Evans, 35, nabbed the role of Bill, the older and more unpredictable officer.

Evans and Cera have already worked together on the 2010 fantasy comedy “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.”
It’s Cera’s second Broadway show with Lonergan after previously starring on the acclaimed play “This Is Our Youth,” which debuted in New York in 2014.
Lonergan has become a bigger name since after winning the 2017 Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for “Manchester By The Sea,” which he directed.
“Lobby Hero” is set to premiere in March 2018 in what will be the first show at the Helen Hayes Theatre. The venue was renovated after being purchased by the Second Stage Theatre company in April 2015.
