Read it and weep.
Anna Faris’ upcoming book “Unqualified” — which includes a foreword written by her recently estranged husband Chris Pratt — will still be released on Oct. 24 as originally planned, despite the Hollywood power couple’s decision to legally separate.
The timing of the book is somewhat unfortunate, considering a large portion of it covers Faris’ “unique take on how to navigate the bizarre, chaotic, and worthwhile adventure of finding love,” according to the book’s official description.
The book, which will be published by Dutton, will still feature Pratt’s foreword when it hits shelves this fall.
Anna Faris hinted at marriage trouble before Chris Pratt split
Dutton has not released an official statement regarding Faris and Pratt’s split.
The two stars — known for their charming red carpet antics and sappy social media posts — announced their decision to end their marriage after eight years in a joint statement Sunday.
“We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed,” Pratt and Faris wrote in the statement shared to his Facebook and her Twitter.
This marks the second failed marriage for Faris, who separated from her first husband Ben Indra in 2007, shortly after meeting Pratt.

She and Pratt got engaged in 2008 and wed in 2009. They have a 4-year-old son, Jack.
Faris, 40, has opened up about her personal life in the past on her podcast, “Anna Faris is Unqualified,” which she’s hosted for two years.
Last December, she admitted during an episode that unsubstantiated rumors about Pratt cheating on her took a toll on her.
“I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he’s off doing movies and I’m in L.A. raising our child, of course I’m going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would,” Faris said.
