How’s this for a plot twist: Andy Samberg’s wife gave birth — without anyone knowing she was pregnant.
The comedic actor and his longtime spouse Joanna Newsom welcomed a daughter, Samberg’s rep confirmed to the Daily News.
The baby’s name and date of birth have not been disclosed yet.
It’s the first child for both Samberg and Newsom, who have been married since 2013.

The baby news comes as a surprise, considering neither Samberg nor his wife had mentioned the pregnancy publicly, nor had Newsom been spotted with a baby bump.
Samberg, who rose to fame on “Saturday Night Live” during the 2000s, said early last year that he was interested in becoming a father but didn’t provide any sort of timetable as for when.
“I love babies,” Samberg told reporters in January 2016 at a Fox event, according to People. “I would love a baby someday.”
His comments came a few months after Newsom, a renowned harpist, told Larry King that she wanted kids.

“Little harpist Samberg, thank you for putting that image in my head,” she said in a December 2015 interview.
Samberg, 38, and Newsom, 35, met at one of her concerts and dated for five years before he proposed.
Since ending his seven-year tenure on “SNL,” Samberg has gone on to star in comedy films like “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping” and the Fox police sitcom “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”
