Amy Schumer to star in Steve Martin's ‘Meteor Shower’ on Broadway

“Trainwreck” star Amy Schumer is on an express track to Broadway.

The comedian will make her Great White Way debut this fall in the Steve Martin comedy “Meteor Shower.”

Keegan-Michael Key, Laura Benanti and Alan Tudyk also star in the production beginning Nov. 1 at the Booth Theatre under the direction of “Hello, Dolly!” helmer Jerry Zaks.

Set in Ojai, Calif., the play follows and Corky (Schumer) and her husband Norm (Tudyk), who are having another couple over for dinner. The evening with Laura (Benanti) and Gerald (Key) turns into a marital free-fall

Seen last year in a production with a different cast and director at the Old Globe in San Diego, the play was showered with mixed reviews. The San Diego hailed it as “a wacky exploration of love, life, death, inner selves, order, chaos and astronomical wonders.” The Los Angeles Times took issue with its “juvenilia.”

The Broadway opening is set for Nov. 29.
